Emeralds
He has 2 full length releases out on the Elefant Tracks record label, and it's interesting to note that on his first release, "Roads to Roma" he sticks pretty much to sampling, and on his latest release, "Circus Maximus" he coordinated session musicians to play original sounds for him to sample and structure into songs.
"The imagination of the capitalist «first world» is exhausted. It cannot imagine anything different. So the tourist leaves the homogenous space of «home» for the heterogenous space of «foreign climes» not to receive a «blessing» but simply to admire the picturesque, the mere view or snapshot of difference, to see the difference.
The tourist consumes difference. "
BTW, I should remind once again that it's not particularly Onra that I'm speaking about, which I enjoy very much.
